Upcoming Special Library Events

ATTENTION PATRONS
LIBRARY BOOK CLUB UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Do you love to read?  Looking to share your interest in great books with other people?  Your public library wants to help by starting our first ever Adult Book Club!

What does a book club do exactly?
Book clubs meet once a month to discuss a book previously agreed upon by members, and share their thoughts and feelings on the title.

Would I have to buy the book myself?
Since the book club will be hosted by a library staff member, once a month within the library, all you would need to own is a valid library card and we will try to provide all the copies through our inter-library loan service.

Why should I join?
Book clubs give people the chance to share the ideas and emotions that reading can evoke.  This will be a great opportunity to meet people within the community who share your interests and make new friends.  We may even have goodies to share at the meetings!

As this will be an Adult Book Club, we ask that members be at least 16 years of age.  Anyone who is interested in joining, please contact Maggie (432-8151) with your name and information.  Our first meeting date will be decided once we know how many members we'll be.

Tell all your book-loving friends!
